Jotenji Temple

This is a Zen temple that is said to have been founded in 1242 by reverend priest Shoichi Kokushi. This temple is also known as the site where udon and soba noodles and manju cakes were introduced, and has a monument within the precinct indicating such origins of udon and soba noodles.
