About one and a half hour drive from Fukuoka will bring you to Yanagawa, one of the most visited cities in Fukuoka prefecture, where you can enjoy a river cruise and unagi (eel) lunch that the city is famous for.  Then a short drive from Yanagawa will bring you to Yame which is one of the most well known green tea producers in Japan.  Yame-cha (tea) is famous for its quality throughout the country.
