Explore the morning market of Yobuko which is one of the three biggest morning markets in Japan. Approximately 50 street stalls are lined up selling fresh and dried seafood, vegetables, fruits and flowers. Karatsu is about half an hour drive from Yobuko (about one hour drive from Fukuoka), and the city is known for its castle, the annual Karatsu Kunchi festival (November 2-4) and Karatsu-yaki which is one of the most well-known potteries in Japan. This tour provides an excellent overview of Yobuko and Karatsu.
