Sakurai Futamigaura is the symbol of Itoshima, featuring two grand rocks and a serene white Torii gate overlooking the beautiful ocean. The right rock, standing at 11.8 meters tall, is considered the sacred body of the male deity Izanagi no Mikoto, while the left rock, at 11.2 meters tall, is that of the female deity Izanami no Mikoto. These rocks symbolize a husband and wife in the midst of the harsh waves and are believed to bring blessings for matchmaking and marital harmony.
