Explore Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, one of the most famous shrines in Fukuoka. The shrine is dedicated to Sugawara Michizane who is known as the God of literature or calligraphy. About 600 plum trees are planted on the site and they start to decorate the shrine beautifully around early February to mid-March.
