Karato Market (Iki-iki Bakangai)

Yamaguchi Prefecture, located at the tip of Honshu, the main island of Japan, is connected to Fukuoka Prefecture by the Kanmon Bridge. After crossing the bridge, your first stop could be Karato Market, where you can experience a sushi stroll event calld Iki-iki Bakangai held on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. From there, a scenic one-hour drive will take you to Tsunoshima Bridge, followed by a 40-minute drive to Motonosumi Shrine. Both locations are among the most photogenic and attractive spots in Yamaguchi.
